Had morning coffee in Kingston, which in classic Aussie style had a random enormous animal statue as you come into town. The wind was a bit hit and miss as we set off but made a good pace and before lunch we saw a heard of camels! Can’t confirm if they were on a farm.

Decided to treat ourselves to a campsite in Beach Port, and on the way the weather cleared up but we got told off by a scary policeman. Made ourselves very much at home in the campsite kitchen.

Today has been a bit of a drizzly nothing day. Had breakfast indoors which is a massive luxury and hit the longest pier in south aus as we left town. Strong rainbow game this morning.

Lunch was the biggest plate of fish, chips and gravy I have ever eaten in one sitting. It was huge and we both had to drop the kids off mid way through to make space for the rest. Eventually finished it feeling very ill and set off for a drizzly and somewhat busy road towards Nelson. Passed into Victoria which was a bit of a mile stone!

Found a good camp spot in some woods and hoping the cycling will be better tomorrow.

The cycling was not better today but we’re loving the woods and sent the drone up.
The morning ride was good but in the afternoon we were back on the A1 with a headwind so not fun. BUT, I saw a koala! Sadly it was half squished in the hard shoulder and I was gunning it down hill I couldn’t get a picture but I’m counting it. Jack also saw a flat owl.
We eventually got to Port Fairy and our warm showers hosts were so kind and welcoming and fed us v well. We met another couple of cyclists there.
Unfortunately I think the only media I got during the day of the following fence.

Had a lie in and a good breakfast but as we were leaving town I rear ended Jack so not a great start.
The morning had some good single track roads and found a great spot for lunch in an abandoned netball complex just before the start of the Great Ocean Road.

We hit the 12 Apostles and thought it would be quiet because the sun was going down but there was more people there than we had seen for weeks.

After the apostles we were a bit short on time finding a camping spot so ended up going down a track behind a B and B.
