The day didn’t start off well. We both woke up in the night and had to pee which normally wouldn’t be an issue, but when you have to get out of your tent and a unzipping it makes a cascade of ice from the outer fall inside it’s a bit of a miserable experience.
Next I managed to break one of the arms that supports the pan in the jet boil, tried to balance it and 5 mins later spilt all the porridge. Switched stoves at which point the spoon end of my spork melted.

V glad to leave camp and was feeling a bit irate with my cooking implements when the best thing that could have possibly happened happened. We stumbled across a petting zoo!
They had a rabbits, emus, some tiny tiny kangaroos a couple of lamas/alpacas and some sheep! Amazing!

Next we went into the adjoining avery which turned out to be a mad house. The birds mobbed us which was funny although Jack got pecked in the ear, a parrot made me bleed and our jackets were nibbled.

Finally ate a crocodile and then a kangaroo pie and hit he road. This all happend 4 miles from where we camped so it was a rather slow but sunny morning.

We then got going and made some quick miles on some really nice winding roads, then a few miles of dirt track before lunch. After a quick drone we headed to Claire.

Just out of town a chap in a truck, invited us to his house for a beer. We had a quick drink then arrived at our warm showers host. Had home made pizza, with Jacks veggie one enjoying only 10% meat, a welcome shower, a sink shorts wash and a proper bed to sleep in.
